NSFW Guidelines
Understanding Tiny Land's content policy and how to properly handle adult content.
Tiny Land's Philosophy
Tiny Land respects creative freedom while ensuring appropriate content filtering. Our approach:
- No Artificial Filters: We don't censor or filter based on arbitrary rules
- Proper Tagging: NSFW content must be clearly marked
- User Choice: Users can filter content based on preferences
- Legal Compliance: All content must comply with laws
- Respect Boundaries: Clear expectations for both creators and users
What is NSFW?
NSFW (Not Safe For Work) content includes:
Must Be Tagged NSFW
- Sexual or erotic content
- Graphic violence or gore
- Mature themes (adult relationships, explicit situations)
- Strong language or crude humor
- Drug or alcohol use as central themes
- Horror with disturbing imagery
Does NOT Need NSFW Tag
- Romance without explicit content
- Action/combat without graphic violence
- Mild language or innuendo
- Suggestive themes without explicitness
- Mature topics handled tastefully
Strict Prohibitions
The following content is absolutely prohibited and will result in immediate removal and account suspension:
❌ Never Allowed
- Minors: Any sexual or suggestive content involving characters under 18
- Non-Consent: Sexual violence, rape, or non-consensual acts
- Illegal Activities: Content promoting illegal activities
- Hate Speech: Content promoting discrimination or violence against groups
- Real People: Unauthorized use of real individuals' likenesses for adult content
- Bestiality: Sexual content involving animals
- Extreme Violence: Glorification of torture, murder, or extreme harm
Age Verification
- All characters in NSFW contexts must be explicitly stated as 18+
- Cannot use "looks young but is actually 1000 years old" loopholes
- School settings with NSFW content must clearly state adult ages (college, university)
How to Tag NSFW Content
Marking Your Character
- Go to Character Settings
- Find the NSFW Flag toggle
- Enable it if character contains adult content
- Save changes
What Happens When Tagged NSFW
- Character gets NSFW badge on profile
- Excluded from default search (unless user opts in)
- Warning shown before chat begins
- Blocked for users under 18
- More lenient content filtering from AI models
NSFW Tag in Search
- Add "NSFW" tag to character tags
- Helps users actively seeking adult content
- Appears in NSFW category filtering
Writing NSFW Characters
Clear Communication
Be explicit about content type in description:
Description: "Alex is a flirtatious bartender who enjoys adult conversations and isn't shy about intimate topics. [18+ NSFW]"Consent and Boundaries
Even in NSFW scenarios, model healthy dynamics:
- Characters should respect boundaries
- Include ability for users to decline or change direction
- Avoid coercive or manipulative scenarios
- Model consent as normal and expected
Quality Over Shock Value
Good NSFW content:
- Has developed characters beyond sexual traits
- Includes personality, backstory, and depth
- Balances adult content with character development
- Respects the narrative and setting
"Character only exists for sex. No personality, no backstory, just here for NSFW.""Dr. Morgan is a confident physician with a playful side outside of work. They enjoy adult conversations and physical intimacy but are also passionate about medicine, devoted to patients, and have a complex past involving a difficult divorce. [18+ NSFW]"AI Model Behavior

- Show NSFW: Include NSFW characters (default for 18+ users)
- NSFW Only: Filter to show only NSFW content

FAQ
Can I create romance characters without NSFW tag?
Yes! Romance without explicit sexual content doesn't require NSFW tagging. Use your judgment - if it's appropriate for general audiences, no tag needed.
What if AI refuses my NSFW content even with flag enabled?
AI models have their own provider policies. Try a different model (Claude is more permissive than GPT) or use BYOK with your own API keys for more control.
Can I age up existing characters for NSFW?
Original characters (OCs) - yes, you control the age. Existing fandom characters - only if they're canonically adults. Don't age up minor characters.
What about violence in action/fantasy?
Standard combat and fantasy violence doesn't require NSFW tag. Tag if it's graphic, disturbing, or gratuitous.
Is gore/horror considered NSFW?
Yes, if graphic or disturbing. Tag horror characters with extreme violence, gore, or psychological horror as NSFW.
What if someone misuses my character for NSFW?
You control your character settings. If they use it privately, that's their choice. If they publicly share inappropriate uses, report it.
